Something for the 1st Post

Finally, we have our own blog!

It is an incredible feat, especially for someone (the DC) who is still grasping the rationale behind blogging and who is, for some reasons, very challenged to gain and maintain momentum in getting involved in online stuff. (DC doesn't have the online photo gallery, doesn't habitually browse other people's blogs and has to be reminded to change his facebook's display photo. What DC lacks, CY has it all though.) Yet amazingly, it's DC who sets up this blog.

My thoughts about blogging deserves another post by itself but most importantly, this blog cannot be set up at a better time. CYDC are going through transitions on so many levels and are waiting, working or praying to be propelled to new beginnings on so many areas of our life.

One thing for sure, we would love a time capsule to chronicle our walk into unity. That's why Internet, being physically formless and therefore infinitely enduring, serves as the best medium. That's why blogging, being so personal and expressive, serves as an ideal channel to chronicle this. That's also why this URL is cydc2008 - to mark the holy and life-transforming event in 2008. (www. cydc.blogspot.com is just coincidentally not available)
